This is the old SKF factory building. The SKF company was founded on Sven Wingqvist's 1907 Swedish patent No. 25406, a multi-row self-aligning radial ball bearing. The headquarters is located in Gothenburg along with three factories and a research center. In one of these three factories, the RK Factory, different types of bearing rollers are produced. Like SKF, Stena Fastigheter has its roots and its heart in Gothenburg. Both are industrial companies that take pride in their origins and protect history.
